Accenture has partnered with Google Cloud to accelerate the adoption of cloud solutions and generative AI capabilities within the Kingdom. The focal objective of this collaboration is to address local data, operational, and software sovereignty requirements, enabling Saudi organizations to create new business opportunities and improve customer experiences.

According to a recent report by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in collaboration with Accenture, the adoption of generative AI could boost gross domestic product (GDP) of Saudi Arabia by up to 4%. To harness this potential, Accenture and Google Cloud will advance AI initiatives locally, supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. This will significantly drive economic growth.

Expanding the Generative AI Center of Excellence

Building on their global partnership, Accenture and Google Cloud will extend their Generative AI Center of Excellence (CoE) to Saudi Arabia. This CoE will offer cutting-edge industry solutions, products, and generative AI agents tailored to local needs. With the combination of Google Cloud’s advanced technologies with Accenture’s industry-tested solutions, organizations can rapidly transform innovative ideas into tangible business value.

“We’re expanding our joint Generative AI CoE to bring new capabilities to the region, transforming how Saudi organizations reinvent products, services, and experiences. Our strategy ensures secure, compliant, and future-ready systems,” said Dr. Majid Altuwaijri, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Chair and Country Managing Director at Accenture.

Additionally, the collaboration will ensure data security and compliance through Google’s Dammam cloud region, an important factor for organizations prioritizing digital sovereignty. Experts from both companies will work closely with clients to identify transformative use cases, develop AI projects, and scale them for strategic growth.

pertinently, this collaboration will drive real-world impact; an example of generative AI’s impact is the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), which leveraged AI to design and prototype a secure, scalable AI environment on cloud technology. This initiative has empowered GOSI’s developers, data scientists, and researchers to experiment with AI models and technologies, driving real-world outcomes.

Beyond technology deployment, Accenture and Google Cloud are committed to developing local talent. Their initiatives include training programs, hackathons, and hands-on labs designed to equip professionals with the skills needed to harness the power of cloud and generative AI.

“With Google Cloud’s advanced capabilities and Accenture’s industry expertise, customers in Saudi Arabia will have the resources needed to plan, deploy, and optimize generative AI projects,” said Bader Almadi, Country Manager for Google Cloud in Saudi Arabia.

Programs like Accenture LearnVantage will offer tailored upskilling services, technology academies, and ecosystem certifications, fostering sustainable growth and innovation across the Kingdom.
