Apple is reportedly working on a future version of the Apple Watch that will feature an integrated camera. The standard Apple Watch model is expected to include a camera embedded within the display, and the high-end Ultra version will have a visible camera next to the Digital Crown. Both models are anticipated to launch within the next two years.

Apple Watch’s camera will allow users to “see the outside world and use AI to deliver relevant information.” This would expand Apple’s Visual Intelligence technology, which is currently limited to iPhones with a camera control button.

Apple is also reportedly developing a new AirPods Pro model with an integrated camera, designed to offer similar AI-powered capabilities. In conjunction with an iPhone that has Apple Intelligence enabled, the future Apple Watch and AirPods may be able to monitor the environment, offer tailored insights, and even answer user questions.

However, these AI-driven features aren’t expected to arrive until at least 2027. Apple plans to power them using its in-house AI models, marking a significant step in the company’s push toward a more intelligent and interconnected ecosystem.
