Presight, a global leader in AI-powered big data analytics, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft to support the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator. Based in the UAE, this initiative is designed to help AI startups scale quickly by providing access to cutting-edge technology, networking opportunities, and venture funding. The program will connect startups to the UAE, the wider G42 ecosystem, and Presight’s global markets, giving them a competitive edge in the industry.
As part of the collaboration, Microsoft will contribute its expertise in technical enablement, mentorship, and market acceleration through the Microsoft Founders Hub initiative. Startups participating in the program will gain access to high-performance computing resources, cloud services, and foundational AI models, including large language models (LLMs) and generative AI analytics. Additionally, Microsoft will provide strategic mentorship, helping startups refine their technology and business models while navigating the complexities of the AI industry.
Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating that both companies share a common vision of driving AI innovation and fostering the next generation of AI leaders. He highlighted that this collaboration underscores their commitment to equipping startups with the necessary tools, expertise, and opportunities to succeed in an increasingly AI-driven world.
Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, noting that the Microsoft Founders Hub is dedicated to providing the resources and mentorship AI startups need to scale effectively. He added that through this partnership, Microsoft and Presight will support the growth of transformative AI solutions that will shape various industries globally.
The Presight AI-Startup Accelerator, which was launched at GITEX Global last year, focuses on startups that have developed a prototype and are ready to test the market. The program follows a structured curriculum designed to help startups refine their AI-powered products, optimize go-to-market strategies, and integrate into Presight’s product pipeline. By doing so, participants will benefit from extensive cross-selling, networking, and promotional opportunities, positioning them for long-term success.
Graduates of the accelerator will emerge as market-ready companies with a validated product-market fit, demonstrated customer value, and a sustainable business model. The combined expertise of Presight and Microsoft will provide participating startups with world-class AI infrastructure, mentorship, and commercialization support, ensuring they are well-equipped to thrive in the competitive AI landscape.
This initiative builds on Microsoft’s $1.5 billion investment in G42 to accelerate AI innovation. As a key part of the G42 ecosystem, Presight already collaborates with Microsoft on several AI-driven projects. The accelerator program further strengthens this partnership, enabling both companies to nurture the next generation of AI startups and drive technological advancements on a global scale.
Applications for the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator close on April 10, 2025.
