Capgemini has announced it will open a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Center in Egypt. This center will help companies around the world learn about and use new AI tools like generative AI and AI agents.
Capgemini plans to work with local schools and universities in Egypt. The company will also partner with other tech companies to help more businesses use AI in smart and helpful ways.
Capgemini Plans to Increase Its Workforce in Egypt
Capgemini says it will double the number of workers in Egypt by the end of 2025. This means the company will have about 1,200 tech professionals in the country.
The new center will have teams made up of AI experts, software engineers, and project managers. These teams will work on real projects that help businesses run better and grow faster.
The company also said clients will get help faster because of time zone benefits, language skills, and easy travel to Egypt
Starting in May 2025, the AI center will support businesses in highly regulated sectors like energy, life sciences, and aerospace. Capgemini will help these companies design and test AI tools that improve how they work, make decisions, and serve their customers.
Capgemini’s CEO, Aiman Ezzat, said the new AI hub in Egypt will give clients the tools they need to stay ahead in innovation. “By investing in Egypt’s talent and creating this hub, we’re building a strong AI ecosystem,” he said. “Our clients will benefit from better service and advanced solutions designed for their industries.”
Egypt’s Growing Tech Scene Gets a Major Boost
Capgemini sees Egypt as a fast-growing digital economy with strong local talent in AI. The CEO of Capgemini in Egypt, Hossam Seifeldin, said the company is excited to grow even more in the region. “This new center will bring innovation to life and give Egypt’s tech professionals a chance to shine on the world stage,” he said.
With this new initiative, Capgemini continues to support global clients while also helping Egypt become a major player in AI development and digital transformation.
