OPPO has officially introduced the A5 Pro to the Nigerian market, unveiling it on April 11, 2025, in Lagos. This addition to the A Series is engineered for users who live on the edge — whether they’re gamers, field workers, or outdoor explorers. Backed by IP69, IP68, and IP66 certifications, the A5 Pro resists water, dust, and shock with military precision. Its robust build and long-lasting 5,800mAh battery powered by Flash Charge make it a solid option for tough environments.
Despite its durability, the A5 Pro remains stylish and lightweight at just 194g with a 7.76mm profile. It comes in three colours — Mocha Brown, Olive Green, and Feather Blue — each featuring distinct textures and finishes. The Olive Green variant uses vegan leather for a plush, tactile grip, while Mocha Brown delivers a matte, fingerprint-resistant surface. Meanwhile, Feather Blue debuts OPPO’s Glow finish, designed to shimmer while staying smudge-free.

The A5 Pro doesn’t just survive rough conditions — it thrives in them. The device underwent rigorous military-grade testing and is built with a dual-sealing structure that keeps water and dust out. Its display is protected with double-tempered glass, making it 160% more drop-resistant. An AM04 aluminium alloy frame reinforces the motherboard, while sponge bionic cushioning absorbs external impact.
“This phone is for those who demand reliability — even in the harshest conditions,” OPPO noted during the launch.
Designed for users on the go, the A5 Pro is equipped with a 360° Surround Antenna and AI LinkBoost to maintain strong connections in low-signal areas. It also supports BeaconLink, a feature that enables voice calls via Bluetooth when cellular service is unavailable. Outdoor Mode ensures smoother operation by adjusting network and CPU settings, and the screen responds even when users wear gloves.
