A group of African tech founders with experience at global firms like Microsoft, Interswitch, and the London Stock Exchange has unveiled Revwit, an AI-driven sales assistant developed to simplify business-to-business sales across the continent.

The tool, launched by Chinedu Ossai, Damilola Aluede, and Dayo Adekanmbi, is designed specifically with African businesses in mind. Unlike traditional customer relationship management platforms that are often foreign-built and overly complex, Revwit adapts to the region’s sales dynamics. It helps businesses manage leads, monitor deals, and engage clients more efficiently.

According to Aluede, who also serves as the Chief Revenue Officer, the product grew out of a real need. “We didn’t build Revwit just because it’s a business opportunity. We built it because we’ve led teams, chased deals, and wished there was something simpler,” he shared.

A Product That Just Works

Revwit offers smart lead capture from emails, forms, and calendars, then uses AI to pull additional data from a global database of over 200 million contacts. Sales teams can personalise their outreach and monitor progress using custom pipelines that reflect how businesses in Africa actually operate.

The tool promises simplicity. Setup is instant—users just connect their email accounts. There’s no onboarding hassle, no consultants, and no need for technical expertise. It’s currently available in local currencies, starting with the naira, and support for the cedi, shilling, and rand is on the way.

“We want to give sales teams a tool that just works—so they can focus on selling, not struggling with software,” Aluede said

Growing Adoption and Future Plans

Revwit already supports over $800 million in B2B transactions and is trusted by more than 200 startups and firms across Africa. It complies with both NDPR and GDPR standards, making it a secure choice for enterprise teams.

The CEO of Placidcode, Napa Onwusah, noted how much it has improved their workflow. “Revwit is perfect for where we are as a company. It updates our leads automatically, which frees up our time to focus on what matters most—our customers.”

With its minimum viable product now live, the founders are working on more integrations and broader payment options. CEO Chinedu Ossai described it as more than a CRM: “It’s the tool we wish we had while chasing deals across Africa—one we didn’t have to spend hours a day updating contacts.”

I am passionate about crafting stories, vibing to good music (and making some too), debating Nigeria’s political future like it’s the World Cup, and finding the perfect quiet spot to work and unwind.
