Three African tech entrepreneurs have launched Revwit, an AI-powered sales assistant that helps African businesses manage B2B sales more easily. The founders—Chinedu Ossai, Damilola Aluede, and Dayo Adekanmbi—built the tool after working at top firms like Interswitch, Microsoft, and the London Stock Exchange Group.
Revwit removes the complexity of foreign-built CRMs and fits how African businesses sell. So far, the platform supports over $800 million in B2B deals across the continent.
Damilola Aluede, Revwit’s co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer, said the team built the product from personal experience. “We led sales teams and chased deals. We needed a tool that made life easier—not harder,” he said. “Revwit helps sales teams focus on selling, not on figuring out difficult software.”
The platform automatically captures leads from emails, forms, and calendars. It uses AI to enrich those leads using a database of more than 200 million contacts. Revwit also lets teams track deals through flexible sales pipelines that match local business processes.
Users can send personalized emails or bulk outreach directly from Revwit. Setting up the tool takes just a few minutes—no consultants, no training, no stress. All you need to do is sign up and connect your email.
Revwit also supports local currencies. Businesses can already pay in naira, with support for the Kenyan shilling, Ghanaian cedi, and South African rand coming soon. The tool meets NDPR and GDPR standards, so users enjoy high-level data protection.
Over 200 African startups and service firms already use Revwit. One is Placidcode, where CEO Napa Onwusah praised the platform for saving time. “Revwit updates our leads automatically. Now, we can focus on our customers,” he said.
The team behind Revwit plans to improve the platform even more. They are adding new features like automation, more integrations, and flexible payment options to reach more African businesses.
Chinedu Ossai, Revwit’s CEO, explained the bigger vision: “Revwit doesn’t just manage your sales—it works like a real assistant. It does the CRM tasks for you. We built the tool we always wished we had while chasing deals across Africa.”
