Taxaide Technologies Limited, popularly called Taxtech, has received approval from Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) as an accredited service provider for the country’s new National E-Invoicing Regime. This overhaul is expected to make things more transparent, block leakages, and ensure that Nigeria’s fiscal system becomes part of world best practice.

Taxtech is one of the recently licensed technology partners and, now, an authorized System Integrator and Access Point Provider (APP). Such designations grant the company the right to onboard, integrate systems, and monitor compliance for any taxpayer regardless of their industry.

Speaking on the development, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Taxaide Technologies, Bidemi Olumide, expressed excitement about the company’s role in this national project.

“We are honored to be among the selected technology companies licensed by the FIRS for this pioneering e-Invoicing project,” said Olumide. “Our mission has always been to simplify and transform tax processes through technology. With our expertise in automation and compliance, we are ready to support taxpayers in aligning with the new regime.”

This means that services to be executed by Taxtech under the new framework include taxpayer onboarding, integration between clients’ ERP or accounting systems and the FIRS infrastructure, and real-time compliance validation. The firm will also handle cryptographic signing and secure invoice transmission to ensure transparency and data protection.

The FIRS is of the view that the new regime represents an important modernisation of Nigeria’s tax system and positions the country to enhance revenue collection while increasing confidence between businesses and regulators.

I am passionate about crafting stories, vibing to good music (and making some too), debating Nigeria’s political future like it’s the World Cup, and finding the perfect quiet spot to work and unwind.
