The Mastercard Foundation has announced the opening of applications for the third cohort of its EdTech Fellowship programme in Kenya. Following the successful conclusion of the second edition, this initiative continues to support and accelerate the growth of promising ed-tech startups across the continent.
Launched in 2019, the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship focuses on nurturing innovative education technology ventures in Africa. The programme provides critical business, financial, and educational resources, helping these companies scale their operations, achieve long-term sustainability, and broaden their impact.
Over the years, the fellowship has played a pivotal role in supporting dozens of ed-tech companies across Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya. With its recent expansion to Egypt, the initiative aims to extend its reach and foster a wider ecosystem of transformative education solutions.
