The Good People Data Company, a leading South African firm specialising in digital workflow automation and compliance, has announced it has secured funding from the REdimension Real Estate Technology and Sustainability Fund. Although the exact amount remains undisclosed, the investment is set to propel the company’s growth and innovation.

Founded in 2018, The Good People Data Company operates as a registered credit bureau, streamlining onboarding processes for customers, employees, and suppliers while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. Over the years, it has garnered trust from major South African brands, including its collaboration with the Southern African Fraud Prevention Services (SAFPS) to combat fraud, money laundering, and identity crimes.

In partnership with prominent stakeholders such as Growthpoint Properties, Rand Merchant Bank, and Sphere Holdings, the REdimension Fund brings strategic resources and expertise to the table. These assets are expected to help the company scale its operations and break into new markets.

Reflecting on the funding, CEO JK du Toit said, “The investment from REdimension represents a significant milestone for The Good People Data Company. With their strategic expertise and resources, we are well-positioned to accelerate our growth, expand into new markets, and continue driving innovation in the verification, compliance, and workflow automation sectors. Together, we will redefine how African businesses navigate the challenges of a digital-first world.”
