Nigeria’s fintech scene just got more exciting. Endowpay, a new digital payments platform developed entirely by local talent, has officially launched, promising a smarter, faster and more reliable payment experience. Created by Endow Technologies Limited, the app is powered by advanced AI and designed specifically to address the everyday frustrations Nigerians face with digital finance.
The country’s digital payments sector has grown rapidly, processing over 11 billion transactions in 2024 and drawing more than $2 billion in investments. Yet, for many users, the experience remains rocky. Failed transactions, poor customer support, hidden charges and erratic service have continued to plague the industry.
With cashless transactions becoming the norm, the need for a reliable, intelligent alternative has never been more urgent. Endowpay’s creators believe they’ve cracked the code.
Built by Nigerians, for Nigerians
Endowpay is more than just another fintech app. It’s a full-service platform built to adapt to local challenges, including unreliable networks and fluctuating power supply. Whether you’re buying airtime, paying utility bills, or funding your wallet, the app uses proactive AI to reroute failed transactions and resolve issues in real time.

“We built Endowpay to put Nigerians first,” said Dr Okunola Orogun, CEO and Co-founder of Endow Technologies. “No more unexplained charges or failed payments — our app ensures your transactions go through the first time, every time.”
From paying electricity and internet bills to scheduling recurring payments or gifting airtime, the app integrates all key financial tasks into a single interface. A standout feature is its multilingual chatbot, offering 24/7 support in both English and Pidgin.
“It’s not about showing off tech,” noted Ogooluwa Adeoye, Product Lead. “It’s about having a helper, even at 2am, when things go wrong.”
Homegrown Innovation, Global Standards
The app’s infrastructure was developed entirely by a Nigerian team. Ayodele Salimonu led the mobile development, with frontend support from Daniel Ojo, Oluwatobi Odubote, and David Orisabiyi. According to Technical Lead Ugochukwu Mmaduekwe, “The app retries and reconnects when networks fail. It’s built to withstand Nigeria’s toughest conditions.”
Design Lead Abdulkabir Ojuolape emphasised the app’s relatable feel, saying the team created “something we’d personally use every day.” On the user growth side, Alabi Samuel and Adekunle Ademola Adeshina are steering the rollout to ensure the app reaches all corners of the country.
“This is homegrown excellence,” added CTO and Co-founder Sunkanmi Ijatuyi. “We’ve shown that Nigerians can build a world-class product, from the ground up.”
Early Access and Exclusive Perks
Endowpay is now live, with early adopters being invited to join an exclusive waitlist via endowco.com. Those who sign up ahead of the public release will enjoy special benefits, including a ₦500 wallet bonus on launch day and a personal referral link that unlocks even more rewards.
“This isn’t just an app, it’s a movement,” said Alabi Samuel. “Our first users will help shape what’s next.”
