Google Launches AI Ultra subscription Plan at N359,000 per month

Google has launched a new premium plan called AI Ultra during the Google I/O 2025 event. The subscription costs $249.99 per month and is designed for creative professionals like filmmakers, developers, and content creators. New users can get a 50% discount for the first three months.

For Nigerians, the service sits above the existing AI Pro plan, costs N359,000/month or N179,000/month for the first three months, while the Google AI Pro subscription is currently priced at N28,500/month after a free trial.

Google describes AI Ultra as a “VIP pass to Google AI.” The plan gives users access to Google’s most powerful AI models and tools. It also comes with higher usage limits and features made for complex and creative work, such as making films, writing code, and doing research.

Gemini Access

Subscribers can use the most advanced version of the Gemini app. This includes tools like:

Deep Research for in-depth studies
Veo 2 for video generation
Early access to Veo 3
A new “Deep Think” mode in Gemini 2.5 Pro for better reasoning and decision-making

Flow for Filmmaking

Flow is Google’s AI tool for movie creators. It uses Veo, Imagen, and Gemini to help users:

Control camera angles
Turn text into short films
Get early access to Veo 3

Whisk for Visual Creation

Whisk helps users turn text and images into animated visuals. The Whisk Animate feature allows static pictures to become short videos using Veo 2, with Ultra users getting the highest limits.
