Dabchy, a rising e-commerce platform focused on second-hand fashion, has secured a fresh round of pre-Series A funding. Led by Janngo Capital and supported by angel investors, including Karim Beguir, the founder of InstaDeep, this investment is set to drive Dabchy’s expansion across North Africa and beyond.

Boosting Growth in Circular Fashion
This funding round is a pivotal moment for Dabchy, reinforcing its commitment to the circular economy and sustainable fashion. While the exact amount remains undisclosed, the participation of Janngo Capital and prominent business figures signals strong investor confidence in the platform’s potential.

Fatoumata Bâ, Founder and Executive Chair of Janngo Capital, expressed excitement about the deal, stating, “That’s why we are particularly proud to participate in this funding round, enabling Dabchy to strengthen its leadership position in the circular economy in Tunisia and accelerate its expansion into Egypt—and soon beyond.”

Expanding Offerings and Market Reach

With these new funds, Dabchy aims to scale operations geographically, introduce a wider range of products, and enhance its user experience. CEO and co-founder Ameni Mansouri highlighted the impact of the investment, noting, “This funding will accelerate our growth, enhance our user experience, and enable us to expand our reach across North Africa and the Middle East. Our commitment remains clear to revolutionize circular e-commerce by merging sustainability with strong financial performance.”

Pioneering Sustainable Fashion

Founded in 2016 by Ameni Mansouri, Ghazi Ketata, and Oussama Mahjoub, Dabchy connects buyers and sellers through an intuitive platform that simplifies second-hand fashion transactions. With integrated delivery and payment systems, the startup streamlines the resale process, making sustainable fashion more accessible to users.

As demand for pre-owned goods continues to grow, Dabchy positions itself as a key player in the evolving circular economy, driving a shift towards more sustainable shopping habits in the region.
