Nigeria’s tech sector is about to welcome a new kind of event. On 13 December 2025, Lagos will host the first edition of People, Product & Code (PPC), a fair designed to connect startups, skilled talent, and investors in one interactive space.

Unlike traditional conferences filled with speeches, PPC takes a different approach. It is a marketplace for opportunities—where startups can pitch, developers can prove their skills, and businesses can discover fresh ideas.

This is about creating a marketplace where innovation and opportunity meet—where startups can showcase, talent can shine, and businesses can connect in real time,” said Omobolanle Antonia Ayoola, CEO of People Advisor Limited and the convener of PPC.

A Different Kind of Tech Gathering

The event will draw over 1,000 participants, from developers and designers to students and entrepreneurs. More than 50 software companies are expected to exhibit, while 30 universities and innovation hubs will also take part.

Highlights include live job interviews, startup showcases, a hackathon to test coding skills, and a pitch corner where early-stage businesses can meet potential backers. By blending career opportunities with startup visibility, PPC wants to address two of Nigeria’s biggest challenges: talent discovery and startup growth.

Ayoola, who has worked across HR and tech, said her vision comes from building systems that balance social impact with business practice. Through People Advisor Limited, she has long supported startups with HR, finance, and growth services.

The fair has already secured support from partners like Burge Africa and Xttreme LLC. With their involvement, organisers hope PPC will become a launchpad for the country’s next generation of innovators.
