Experts Back EmoSIM as a Big Win for Nigeria’s Tech Industry

At the event, Karn Gulati, CEO of EmoSIM, led a talk on the future of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) in Nigeria.

Former CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Umar Danbatta, praised EmoSIM for bringing government goals to life. He said MVNOs like theirs use unused mobile network resources to offer better services that are affordable and widely available.

Dr. Jobson Ewalefoh, head of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), said the launch shows that global partners now see Nigeria as a rising tech leader.

Tony Agenmonmen, former president of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), added that teamwork, not competition, will push Nigeria’s tech space forward.

Also at the event, Bayo Adedeji, CEO of Wakanow, said his travel company will work with EmoSIM to help travellers manage foreign exchange issues more easily.
