Leo Stan Backs KongaFM, Nigeria’s First AI-Powered Radio Station

Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman of Zinox Group, has backed KongaFM, Nigeria’s first AI-powered radio station. He praised the station as a game-changer for brands looking to win consumer trust and loyalty.

Speaking at a Lagos event hosted by KongaFM, Ekeh stressed the power of the “last mile” in marketing. He said brands must connect with consumers at their final point of contact to build loyalty and grow. “KongaFM helps brands reach consumers in real-time and deliver value that creates long-term trust,” he said.

KongaFM Blends AI, Music, and Commerce to Engage Consumers

Launched in January 2025, Konga 103.7FM uses AI to mix music, shopping, and data-driven brand promotions. The station is part of Konga Group, a tech company owned by Zinox Technologies.

Ifeoma Ajumobi, Head of KongaFM, said the station gives brands real-time insights into what consumers want. She added, “KongaFM connects culture with commerce through engaging content and smart technology.”

Many brands, including Samsung, Emzor, Nivea, LG, and Checkers Custard, praised KongaFM’s unique approach. Peggy Abengowe of Checkers Custard said the station helped them reach more customers faster and easier. Samsung’s Oge Maduagwu called it “a smart blend of tech and commerce that gets real results.”

Ekeh urged businesses to embrace bold ideas like KongaFM to stay relevant in a fast-changing digital world. He said, “Those who win the last mile will win the future.”

KongaFM continues to grow across Nigeria, showing how AI-powered media can reshape consumer engagement in Africa.
