In April 2025, Lagos will host the third edition of DICE — Digital Innovation and Creative Excellence — an exclusive, invite-only networking experience created by Beyond Limits. Themed “Scaling Right: From Market Entry to Market Leadership,” DICE 3.0 promises to connect some of Africa’s brightest tech and business leaders with diplomats, investors, and policymakers in a strategic dialogue on sustainable expansion.
Set for April 3, the gathering will not just be about exchanging pleasantries. It’s an ambitious attempt to bridge the lingering gap between innovation and real economic growth across African markets.
This year’s edition aims to tackle the tough questions: How can businesses scale responsibly? What does it take to move from start-up mode to market leadership on the continent?
Business Growth Meets Policy Influence
DICE 3.0 is expected to feature a powerful lineup of speakers, including Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwole; JoEllen Gorg, Acting Consul-General of the US Consulate in Lagos; and Frank Eggmann, Switzerland’s Consul-General. Other panellists include Barbara Lehninger from Advantage Austria, Tayo Oviosu of Paga, and Deepankar Rustagi, CEO of OmniRetail.
One of the key moments to look out for is the Diplomatic Leaders Panel, where top global representatives will share insights on trade barriers, policy solutions, and opportunities for African businesses to scale beyond borders. The session promises to deliver practical strategies backed by real-world success stories, not abstract theory.
The agenda will go deep into how to optimise operations, navigate regulation, and forge strategic partnerships—especially in a market that’s still fragmented despite its tech hype. With Africa’s digital economy gaining momentum, the conversations are expected to center on actionable solutions, not buzzwords.
Progress Is Not Built in Isolation
Ahead of the event, Beyond Limits founder and CEO Dr Juliet Ehimuan, emphasised the power of collective innovation.
“Progress is not built in isolation. The most transformative ideas emerge when leaders, visionaries, and changemakers unite across borders, industries, and perspectives to drive meaningful action,” she said. “DICE 3.0 is designed to facilitate these essential connections and knowledge sharing, enabling Africa’s innovators to scale across the continent and establish themselves as global market leaders.”
Despite its thriving startup culture, Africa still lags in terms of tech-driven GDP impact. DICE 3.0 wants to change that by creating a space where access, collaboration, and long-term thinking drive the conversation.
