The Orange Summer Challenge (OSC) 2025 is now open to young African entrepreneurs who want to build innovative tech solutions that make a real difference. Organized by Orange Digital Center, this flagship program supports startups that combine hardware and software to tackle social and environmental problems.

The 2025 edition follows the theme Startup4Good, focusing on ideas that promote sustainability, inclusivity, and lasting impact.

Apply Before June 15, 2025

Interested startups or individuals must apply by June 15, 2025. You can join whether you work alone or in a team, as long as your idea uses both tech and hardware, and aims to solve a serious challenge.

Your proposal should clearly explain:

  • Your project idea
  • It’s social or environmental impact
  • Long-term goals
  • The support or skills you need

Hybrid Format with Global Exposure

The program runs in a hybrid format, meaning you’ll join both local sessions and an international phase. As a participant, you’ll get access to:

  • Prototyping tools and workspace
  • Expert mentorship from Orange trainers, staff, and global partners like EY (Ernst & Young)
  • National and regional exposure through events and media coverage

Collaborate and Compete for Funding

Startups will work closely with talented young professionals who are selected to help with the projects. At the end of the program, the top teams will compete internationally. Winners will receive financial support to help scale their solutions or cover business costs like incubation or operations.
