The Jobber Woman Programme has launched its second cohort to empower women entrepreneurs across Nigeria. This initiative, led by The Startup Place in partnership with Shecluded, aims to help women aged 18 to 35 grow their businesses by offering hands-on training, tools, mentorship, and access to markets.
This program targets women who already run businesses and want to improve how they manage their finances. Participants will learn how to track income, expenses, and profits effectively. The goal is to help these women understand their business numbers better, make smarter decisions, and prepare for future investments.
Each cohort runs for two months and includes in-depth training, one-on-one mentorship, and support from experienced business leaders. Organizers will select 200 women for each business category, with a total of 600 women expected to take part between July and August 2025.
Participants will also become part of a supportive business community and gain access to free tools that simplify business operations. These tools will help them plan better, manage their teams, and handle accounting and human resource tasks more efficiently.
