Adobe has identified Nigeria as a major growth market in Africa as the global software company pushes deeper into the continent’s fast-growing creator economy and artificial intelligence-driven digital market.
The company disclosed this during a media event in Lagos where it announced a strategic partnership with global technology distributor Redington.
Adobe said the collaboration forms part of a wider expansion strategy aimed at strengthening its presence across Africa as demand rises for digital creativity, cloud services, and document management solutions.
Speaking during the event, Magalie Meuris, Senior Channel Leader for South-West EMEA at Adobe, said the company sees strong long-term opportunities within Africa’s evolving digital ecosystem.
According to her, Adobe’s presence in Lagos reflects a broader commitment to expanding investments across emerging markets, especially in countries experiencing rapid digital growth.
Adobe targets Africa’s digital growth
Redington said the partnership would improve access to Adobe’s products and services for businesses and creators across Africa through its regional distribution network.
Speaking on the agreement, Sayantan Dev, Global Head of Software Solutions Group at Redington Group, said software solutions have become central to business growth and competitiveness.
“Our partnership with Adobe strengthens our software portfolio and enables organizations across Africa to adopt world-class creative and document management platforms,” Dev said.
Under the arrangement, Redington will provide licensing, implementation, training, and support services for customers adopting Adobe products across African markets.
Jim Mathew, President for Africa at Redington, said many organisations across the continent still require localised support systems to fully adopt advanced software platforms.
According to him, the partnership is designed to help businesses access better training and support while accelerating digital transformation across different sectors.
Also commenting on the development, Serkan Celik, Chief Executive Officer of TAEC at Redington Group, said Africa is entering a major phase of digital expansion.
He noted that the collaboration combines Adobe’s global technology expertise with Redington’s regional market reach and distribution capabilities.
Meanwhile, Hishamul Hasheel, Vice President of Software Solutions Group for Africa at Redington, said more African organisations are now seeking integrated software systems that improve collaboration, creativity, and operational efficiency.
